February 2018 – TDI serves as keynote speakers at Big Brothers Big Sisters Conference in Dallas/Fort Worth
On February 10, TDI was invited to be keynote speakers at Big Brothers Big Sisters Teen Conference 2018 held at University of Texas at Arlington . Afterwards, the board members held a private invitation only fundraiser in Fresno, Texas.

April 2018 – TDI sponsors first ever Dreams College Tour for high school students
For an exposure trip, on April 28th, all of the high school mentees were taken on a charter bus to Atlanta, GA to visit Morehouse College, Clark Atlanta University, and Emory University. The high school group was joined by some of recent graduates of the TDI college program as they learned about the various schools and admission requirements. Afterwards, mentees had a lunch and learn session at Omni Hotel overlooking Atlanta Braves Battery Park. The topic for the month was the importance of having the right relationships.

April 12 2018 – TDI sponsors career advisory trip for mentee.
On April 12, TDI sponsored a trip to New York City to help mentee Tyrell Hart attend an interview with JP Morgan Chase Bank on Wall Street. Mentee was pondering four different job offers after his soon to be graduation in May, so board members wanted to show him life outside of his normal environment and expose him to life in the big city. Ultimately, Mr. Hart accepted a position with FedEx Services in Memphis, TN as a Associate Programmer Analyst.

May 2018 – TDI serves as keynote speakers at Boys and Girls Conference in Chester, PA. On May 5, 2018 TDI was invited to be keynote speakers at Boys and Girls Club of Chester, PA 2018 Youth and Family Summit. Many of the recently graduated mentees flew to Philadelphia to participate in the conference and see the city.

August 2018 – TDI presents DREAMS Seminar at Alabama State University
TDI was invited to be guest speakers on August 30. The board members and recent mentees who graduated the program presented their DREAMS Seminar to the College of Business Administration students as part of the Labor Day Classic week activities.
